Offensive Player of the Year Jake Hermsen and Defensive Player of the Year Eric Rasmussen both players shared MVP honors.
Jake Hermesn and Eric Rasmussen were named offensive and defensive players of the year respectively. Hermsen lead the Merchants in all offensive catagories and also won the 2009 BABA South Central Batting Championship. Eric Rasmussen lead the Merchants in all pitching catagories and was tied for the lead in wins on the team. Rasmussen was called on to pitch just about every league this summer piling up 97.2 innings pitched. Rasmussen also had four complete games and lead the Merchants with a 2.76 ERA.
